        Course Description

This club has an eighteen hole regulation course and a nine hole par 3 course. The Eighteen Hole Course features a traditional design highlighted by small, fast greens and many trees lining its fairways. Not only is hole #18 the signature hole, but locals consider this 491-yard, par 5, as the most difficult hole on the course. The 1938, 1960, and 1978 U.S. Opens were held on the Eighteen Hole Course. In 1960, Arnold Palmer drove the 404-yard first hole on his way to victory and there is a commemorative plaque to remind players of that accomplishment.
